There are three main reasons for cat tooth loss:
1. Teeth replacement. Cats begin to grow teeth about two weeks after birth, deciduous teeth fall off about three months, teeth grow up in five to six months, and canine teeth change after six months. If a kitten loses a tooth, it is a replacement.
2. Periodontitis. Periodontitis will lead to the destruction of the tissue cells supporting the teeth of cats, thus making the teeth loose and fall off. This tooth disease can cause cats to lose teeth.
3. Aging. The gums and alveoli of 12-13 year old cats began to relax, and then the teeth fell off. At this time, tooth loss of cats is not a dental disease, which is caused by aging.
