method:
1. Control temperature.
The suitable breeding temperature is 20 to 30 ℃. At 20 to 25 ℃, the egg stage lasts 7 to 8 days, the larval stage lasts 122 days, and the pupal stage lasts 8 days. It takes about 133 days from egg development to adult development. However, at 28-30 ℃, the egg stage can be shortened to 3-6 days, the larval stage is 100 days, the pupal stage is 6 days, and it only takes 110 days for the egg to develop to the adult.
2. Ensure humidity.
The appropriate relative humidity is 60% to 70%. When the relative humidity reaches 90%, most of the larvae will die when they grow to the second to third instar. When the relative humidity is lower than 50%, the number of eggs laid will be greatly reduced.
3. Scientifically allocate feed.
The number and duration of eggs laid by different diets are different. The duration and duration of eggs laid by adults fed with artificial diet, wheat bran, flour and soybean flour are 60 to 90 days.
The formula of artificial diet is 100g wheat bran, 20g glucose, 0.5g cholesterol, 0.02g choline chloride, 0.5mg riboflavin and 40ml water.
