1. Panel fabrication. First, use a hand saw to cut off a rectangular board: 70cm long, 40cm wide and 3cm thick, which is used as the table top. Then drill a round hole with a diameter of 4cm at two oblique angles with a round wood drill to install two wooden legs of the tea table.
2. Leg connection. First, cut two square timbers to be used as two diagonally symmetrical wooden legs of the tea table. Then use a wood drill to drill a round hole on one end of the square timber. Then make a cylindrical wood, and buckle the round wood into the round hole on the coffee table leg and the table top, which acts as a round wooden tenon. Apply glue to fix it.
3. The wooden legs are shaped. After the two wooden legs are finished, connect them to shape the wooden legs of the tea table with a grinder (or a wire saw). Here, I made the wooden leg of the tea table into an inward waist shape. You can use a grinder or a wire saw to make it without hurting the connection between the tenon and mortise of the table leg.
4. Steel leg fabrication. Apply wood glue on the two round wood cakes, install them at the diagonal position, and reinforce them with wood screws. Then, with the help of bench tongs, the reinforcing bar is made into an arc (pipe) shape according to the leg height and length of the small coffee table. Then, a round hole is drilled on the round wood cake with a hand drill, and a corresponding round hole is also drilled on the leg of the coffee table to fix the arc leg of the reinforcement. Finally, the reinforcement leg can be installed.
5. Polish and paint. First, use a round wooden cake to fill the notch on the leg of the table top. Then polishing, first use coarse sandpaper to polish along the wood grain from beginning to end, and then use the corresponding mesh of fine sandpaper to polish. After polishing, clean the wood chips and dust on the surface. Then, it is recommended to apply some retro paint and brush it several times to keep the natural wood grain and scar on the pine board.
6. Finish!
