The pneumatic pick is composed of three parts: the air distribution mechanism, the impact mechanism and the pick drill.
The air distribution mechanism is that compressed air is distributed to the two ends of the cylinder block by the tubular distribution valve in turn, so that the hammer can enter the complex impact movement. The impact mechanism is a thick wall cylinder, in which an impact hammer can reciprocate along the inner wall of the cylinder. The tail of the pick drill is inserted into the front end of the cylinder, and the rear end of the cylinder is equipped with a valve box.
Air picks are mainly used for cutting off layers, breaking soft ores, mining clay, destroying solid or frozen layers, breaking ice and other purposes.
