Continuing education is the basic requirement and necessary guarantee for banking professionals to maintain professional standards and pursue professional ethics. From the year following the approval date of the banking qualification certificate, each calendar year is a cycle of continuing education. The time of continuing education for the licensed personnel shall not be less than 90 class hours in each cycle. Among them, no less than 30 class hours of online or face-to-face education and training have been completed through the banking regulatory authorities, the China Banking Association, local banking associations (academic and public associations), financial institutions, colleges and universities established with the approval of the Ministry of Education and other qualified education and training institutions; The continuous education study completed by other means shall not be less than 60 class hours.
Continuing education studies completed by other means include:
(1) Regularly read and learn financial newspapers, books and information;
(2) Participate in financial research, academic exchanges, such as the compilation of teaching materials for the banking professional qualification examination, examination of papers and other activities;
(3) Engaged in financial related work;
(4) Participated in and passed the national financial related professional and technical qualification examination;
(5) Published papers in the economic and financial journals with the national uniform number (CN);
(6) Publish financial books independently or in cooperation with others;
(7) Other methods conforming to regulations.
