At least 90 class hours of continuous education for banking industry shall be completed in one year. According to the new management measures for continuing education of Chinese banking professionals (revised in 2019) released by the Association of Banking Official Websites on October 17, 2019, according to the content of the new management measures: "Every natural year is a cycle of continuing education from the next year after the qualification certificate is approved. The time of continuing education for the licensed personnel shall not be less than 90 class hours in each cycle. "
That is to say, from 2019, the class hours of continuing education for one year will be at least 90, and 90 class hours include two parts:
1. Continuing education and study completed by banking regulatory authorities, China Banking Association, local banking associations (schools and associations), financial institutions, colleges and universities established with the approval of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and other qualified education and training institutions with no less than 30 class hours;
2. Continuing education study completed in other ways with no less than 60 class hours.
Banking continuing education content:
(1) In terms of policies and regulations, it is important to strengthen the interpretation of relevant financial laws and regulations, so as to enhance the awareness and ability of licensed personnel to prevent risks and conduct business in accordance with laws and regulations;
(2) In terms of banking business, focus on strengthening the training of new theories, new businesses, new technologies and new knowledge, so as to improve the professional level of licensed personnel;
(3) In terms of professional ethics, focus on strengthening the training of professional ethics and ethics, so as to improve the professional ethics level of licensed personnel and enhance their sense of dedication and compliance;
(4) Other contents to help the certified personnel improve their professional quality.
