House leasing shall follow the principles of equality, voluntariness, legality and good faith, and the lessor and lessee shall sign a contract upon consensus through consultation. It mainly includes the following legal provisions:
1. A lease contract is a contract whereby the lessor delivers the lease item to the lessee for use and income, and the lessee pays the rent.
2. The contents of the lease contract include the name, quantity, purpose, lease term, rent and its payment term and method, maintenance of the lease item, etc.
3. The lease term shall not exceed twenty years. If it has been more than 20 years, the excess part shall be invalid.
4. If the lease term is more than six months, it shall be in writing. If the parties fail to adopt a written form, it shall be deemed as an indefinite lease.
