The results of the joint examination/unified examination will also affect the school examination. Most art colleges require the results of the joint examination. Only some arts colleges do not require the results of the school examination for their majors. Secondly, when taking the college entrance examination, the score of art students in cultural courses is lower than that of cultural students, which is one of the reasons why more and more students take the art examination in recent years. When ordinary cultural students are admitted to the college entrance examination, only the college entrance examination results can be seen, while when art candidates are admitted to the college entrance examination, not only the college entrance examination results, but also the art examination results should be seen.

Because art students want to take part in the art exam, they will participate in professional training in the second semester of the second year of senior high school or the first semester of the third year of senior high school. The time for reviewing culture courses is much less than that of ordinary culture students. Cultural students usually have three rounds of review before the college entrance examination. Therefore, the review mode of art examinees is different from that of cultural students.
