The best USB-C to Lightning cable released so far

It has been some time since Apple first allowed the third-party USB-C to transfer to Lightning cable, and there are many options. We collected and tested a bunch of cables, which is what we like.

Using a suitable AC adapter, the charging speed of the USB-C to Lightning cable is faster than that of the standard cable. They can connect an iPhone to all Apple's latest Macs without an adapter, and the Macs have at least one USB-C port like each currently shipped computer.

We receive a lot of fake rubbish every hour - these cables are not like this. All these cables have been tested and verified by Apple in person before being recommended. All cables have similar specifications, including support for fast charging.

We will continue to update this list as more cables are announced and released.

Bullstrap - added in March 2022

Bullstrap cables have only one length - six feet. This long cable is managed by a built-in leather tie with Bullstrap lettering.

This fast charging cable adopts BT4 nylon wrapping cable, which is very durable and enjoys a lifetime warranty. If the cable breaks at any time, Bullstrap will replace it for you. Both ends are reinforced by stainless steel cladding molding pieces.

Nomad sports cable - added in December 2021

Nomad has Kevlar reinforced cable, which is expensive, but the price of sports cable is more affordable. They are reinforced with nylon, but in other aspects they are not good enough.

To manage the cable, Nomad uses a reliable silicone ring molded into the cable itself. It is easy to adjust and will not be lost when not in use.

Unlike Nomad's Kevalr cable, the end and cladding molding parts are plastic rather than aluminum. This is not a problem, but I feel there is a difference in quality between these products and other available products.

Sports cable starts at $24.99 Starting directly from Nomad And rise according to the design and size.

Anker Powerline III Flow - added in March 2021

For truly unique cables that are different from any other cables we have listed so far, Anker Powerline III Flow is here. This high-quality and affordable cable is available in three and six foot lengths.

It is made of velvety silicone material with soft touch, which has a very good hand feel. This not only makes you feel good, but also can prevent other cables from being tangled and kinked easily.

A copper colored metal ring is provided at each end before cladding molding begins. Anker said that it can withstand more than 25000 bends, is very durable, and has an 18 month warranty.

To control it, a soft integrated tie is included. It is very long, so you can use it for Powerline III Flow cables and other cables that you may take with you.

You can choose black, green, white, grey and pink, all of which have a slightly softer side. $22 for three feet and $25 for six feet On Amazon

Spigen DuraSync - added in October 2019

Spigen's new DuraSync USB-C Lightning cable is the latest product in our product line.

It is available in black and white, and has a durable external cable that can be bent more than 10000 times. Spigen attributes this to their Uttraflex technology, which also resists wear.

The cable itself is not wrapped with nylon like some other solid cables, but it feels stronger than some other solid cables Apple's dedication.

Spigen provides the cable itself, or in a convenient two-piece form, to help USB-C replace USB-A faster.

Mophie USB-C cable with Lightning connector - added in August 2019

Mophie's new USB-C to Lightning nylon data cable

Mophie has just released a series of new USB-C accessories, all of which have functions, but here we want to talk about USB-C lightning cable.

It is one meter long and covered with black woven nylon. The cable feels firm, sturdy, and since the outside is smooth and shiny, it is unlikely to tangle. The cladded molding piece looks solid and durable, with a metal cover at the end.

Each cable in Mophie comes with a two-year warranty.

Belkin BoostCharge DuraTek+Band - added in August 2019

Belkin BoostCharge USB-C to Lightning+Strap is made by the company's own DuraTek technology, which makes the cable much stronger than the standard Lightning cable.

Belkin BoostCharge DuraTek+watch band USB-C to Lightning data cable

The connector is precisely laser welded, and the variegated exterior of the cable is tightly woven with aramid fiber. Kevlar is a popular brand using para aramid fiber, which should let you know the strength of this cable.

We also like the appearance of Belkin cable, whose texture cable and pebble coating make it unique.

This version of the cable also comes with a leather strap for cable management.

To support this, Belkin offers a five-year warranty

Now available Directly from Belkin Four feet long, white or black, $29.99.

Nimble USB-C to Lightning cable with bottle cover

Nimble is a manufacturer of high-quality environmental protection accessories, and has launched the USB-C Lightning data cable. As with the company's previous products, the design of the cable takes environmental factors into consideration. These cables are completely free of BPA and PVC and have a length of one meter.

We recently checked Nimble's bottle cover. If you want a sustainable and strong cable, this bottle cover matches it well.

The appearance is a bit boring, but some people like the simple matte gray finish.

These cables can be picked up directly Nimble $19.95 Use alone, or purchase a portable charger for $14.95.

UGreen - added on July 22, 2019

Ugreen nylon lightning to USB-C cable

Ugreen previously released the basic version of the USB-C to Lightning cable, but now they have a more powerful update version. It can withstand more than 15000 bends and has an 18 month warranty.

This updated cable has an aluminum clad mold and nylon braid in the middle.

It really has a better feel and appearance than the simple first generation product. Most importantly, we like the Ugreen nylon and aluminum models, which sell for only $13.99 (there is an additional 20% discount at present). This is the most affordable product of the same kind we have seen so far.

Nomad - added in July 2019

 Nomad Kevlar Lightning cable

Nomad can be said to have the most impressive USB-C to Lightning cable series. They are the only manufacturer working with DuPont to integrate Kevlar into their cables. Durable fibers are integrated into both the outer wrap and the core. This is partly why its cables have such a long service life.

Since Nomad launched the last cable, the other change is that the new metal allows cladding, which has become common in the high-quality cable industry.

 Nomad Kevlar Lightning cable

Nomad has launched a large number of cables of different sizes and styles (11 to be exact) and new Lightning cables. There are standard USB-C to Lightning cables (1.5M and 3M sizes), upgraded 100W USB-C cables (1.5M and 3M sizes), USB-A to Lightning cables with new Kevlar integration (1.5M and 3M sizes are available), a new universal USB-C cable, which now supports 100W, with a Micro USB adapter at one end, The other end is equipped with USB-A adapters (. 3M, 1.5M, and 3M sizes). Finally, a new universal USB-A cable is equipped with micro USB, USB-C, and Lightning adapters at the end, with 0.3M and 1.5M sizes.

RAVPower - added in June 2019

RAVPower has launched a series of impressive charging accessories, and now they have added USB-C Lightning to their product lineup. This is another kind of very simple cable. The entry price is low, but the quality remains stable.

RAVPower USB-C to lightning connection line

The cable has an "R" printed on one end and a complete RAVPower logo on the other end. Each end has an angled texture that is easier to grasp than some other ends in the list.

If we want to change the cable, we hope the cable itself has more coverage, but this should be a lower cost option than all the nylon wrapped cables we have covered. Even without any additional covering, the cable can withstand more than 30000 bends.

RAVPower USB-C to Lightning cables are available in 3 feet and 6 feet in black or white. They started Amazon $14.99 For the 3-foot model, but for the longer model, it is worth paying an additional $2.

Kanex DuraBraid - added in June 2019

Apple accessories manufacturer Kanex is launching a new series of USB-C accessories. They have standard USB-A to USB-C and USB-C to USB-C cables, but also introduced DuraBraid USB-C to Lightning variant. DuraBraid is named for its high-quality nylon wrapped cable, which is stronger and more durable, and can prevent the tangle phenomenon that often occurs in rubber cables.

Kanex gold USB-C to Lightning DuraBraid data cable

These cables feel very strong, and we appreciate the metal clad mold at both ends. However, there is a small plastic ring between the covering mold and the cable, which looks a bit cheap. This collar is a necessary stress relief device, but we hope its integration is slightly better - although it must be picky.

We chose the golden USB-C to Lightning DuraBraid cable, because Kanex is the only company that has so far provided this color scheme in these new connector types. Also available in black, silver and dark grey. They are four feet long, just enough, but not too long and frustrating.

 Kanex GoPower USB-C charger

Kanex is matching the new USB-C series with two new products GoPower USB-C wall charger The first is a simple 18W compact power module, and the second is a dual output charger with 39W USB-C port and 12W USB-A port.
