YDA series full-automatic hot melt butt welding machine (special for polyethylene gas pipeline)
According to the national Technical Rules for Welding of Polyethylene Pipes for Gas, full-automatic welding machines shall be used for hot fusion butt welding of gas pipelines.
1 The time, temperature and pressure of the whole process are controlled automatically and uninterruptedly.
2 Identification of each connection, component and operator.
3. It is automatically set by the system according to the input pipe diameter and wall thickness (including automatic setting of pressurization pressure).
4 The heating time is automatically compensated according to the ambient temperature.
5 The welding parameters and operator code can be saved, and can be consulted at any time. It can be printed on the general printer at any time, and filed for future reference.
Hot melt butt welding has many process parameters and complex operation process, so the quality of welding is greatly affected by human factors. Computer control of welding process parameters and process can effectively avoid the impact of human factors to ensure the quality of welding interface.

The automatic hot melt butt welding machine for polyethylene plastic pipe generally has the following characteristics:
1. The welding (welding) parameters of pipes with different materials, diameters and SDRs have been set in advance (diameter, material and serial number selected).
2. Welding (welding) time, temperature and pressure are fully self controlled.
3. The welding machine automatically measures the driving pressure during the whole welding process.
4. Welding parameters are automatically generated and heating time is automatically controlled.
5. The heating plate can be automatically popped out or manually taken out, and the temperature loss is reduced at least (if it is automatically popped out, the mold closing time is automatically controlled within the minimum range).
6. Automatic monitoring and prompt of the whole process of each operation step in the welding process.
7. The dynamic data of welding process can be printed out or downloaded to the USB of the quality inspection personnel through the data transmission system, so as to recheck the on-site performance of the welding machine and operators.
 
When polyethylene pipes were initially used as gas pressure pipes in China, most of them were connected by manual/semi-automatic hot melt. Due to human factors, many quality accidents of unqualified weld junctions occurred, and similar cases occurred in gas companies all over the country. Later, electric fusion connection was adopted in some areas, and the situation was improved. In order to reduce the project cost, promote the development of polyethylene pipeline industry, and achieve both economy and efficiency, domestic and foreign researchers have been studying the hot-melt connection machines and tools that can reduce the influence of human factors, and began to use full-automatic hot-melt butt welding machines in 1990. At present, the use of full-automatic hot-melt welding machines is also vigorously promoted in China, such as Beijing, Guangzhou Manual/semi-automatic hot-melt welding machines have been phased out in Shanghai and other regions.
