Faced with a large user group covering the whole country and emerging competitors in the field of live game broadcasting, Douyu TV is in urgent need of improving the quality of live broadcast, and serving users through clearer, jam free live video core capabilities. In addition, in addition to the traditional live broadcast function, other functions need to be improved, including recording, screenshots, yellow identification of pictures and other system functions, to achieve comprehensive live broadcast management.

In addition, the traditional live broadcast architecture has various problems, such as the difficulty of FLV/RTMP multi protocol distribution management and inaccurate statistics, which need to be solved at the same time. In particular, the statistical function, timely, accurate and multi-dimensional statistical reports, will be very important for improving the business operation and maintenance strategy.

At the same time, due to the particularity of live broadcast business, customers are deeply troubled by the content of pornographic videos. A large amount of manpower has been invested, and the semimanual method is used for yellow identification, which is costly and ineffective.

Through in-depth communication, the Tencent Cloud team made a detailed framework of the live broadcast core business of Douyu, helping Douyu TV create a new generation of live broadcast functions in the following aspects.

1. Core functions

1) Support the host end to push two live streams for mutual backup, and provide a highly reliable live streaming scheme;

2) It supports live broadcast multi rate transcoding, which is convenient for customers to implement distribution schemes suitable for different broadcast scenarios, and greatly saves bandwidth costs;

3) Support the RTMP/FLV protocol back to the source from the third-party live broadcast platform to provide flexible live broadcast scheduling functions;

4) CDN live broadcast acceleration supports FLV (one main line) and RTMP (three standby lines), with highly available live streams;

5) Provide statistics module to support real-time online user information collection and statistics; The log module supports the docking with the betta management platform to achieve log push, which facilitates insight into business details through flexible log formats;

2. Value added services

1) Provide recording and broadcasting function, support live broadcast review function, and realize value-added use of live broadcast content;

2) In combination with the industry-leading Tencent cloud image analysis, we identify screenshots of the live content process to reduce the burden of manual review;
