Cloud disk

Cloud disk is a block storage service with low latency, persistence, high reliability and high elasticity provided by Baidu Intelligent Cloud for ECS BCC. The data in the cloud disk will be stored in the availability zone in the form of multiple copies redundancy to avoid the risk of a single point of failure of the data. At the same time, it supports elastic management of the cloud disk through online capacity expansion and online disk type change.

  • Billing management

    Renew cloud disk
    After expiration, the service will be stopped automatically. Automatically close and retain data within seven days after expiration, and send a renewal notice to the user. After renewal, the system will automatically resume the use of the original service.
    Billing changes
    The billing method supports changes between prepaid and postpaid.
    Snapshot charge
    Cloud disk snapshots are billed in a postpaid manner, and the snapshot data generated by CDS cloud disk is managed in the form of "snapshot chain".
  • Disk management

    Create CDS Cloud Disk
    You can create a CDS cloud disk while creating an ECS BCC, create a CDS cloud disk for an already created ECS BCC, or create a CDS cloud disk separately and attach it to a specified ECS.

    Snapshot encryption
    You can encrypt the cloud disk when creating an ECS BCC or cloud disk CDS. After encryption, the snapshot it creates will be encrypted automatically.
