China Mobile's 20 Cities Mobile Network Quality is the National Leader

On June 6, the "Third Mobile Network High Quality Development Conference" hosted by the China Academy of Information and Communications (hereinafter referred to as the China Academy of Information and Communications) and the Mobile Network Quality Pilot Array was held in Beijing. China Mobile and other basic telecommunications enterprises and relevant partners in the industry were invited to participate.

In 2023, entrusted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, China Academy of Information Technology led the organization of mobile network quality evaluation for basic telecom enterprises. The conference released the evaluation results of the top 5 city operators in the mobile network quality score of super large and large cities and the top 10 city operators in the mobile network quality score of medium-sized cities, all of which are China Mobile, of which the top 5 city operators in super large cities are Ningbo, Kunming, Beijing, Shanghai and Wuhan Mobile, and the top 5 city operators in large cities are Wenzhou, Luoyang Linyi, Xiangyang, Hefei Mobile, the top 10 medium-sized cities are Lijiang, Jinhua, Yichang, Jingzhou, Xinxiang, Shiyan, Nanyang, Fuyang, Hengyang, Handan Mobile.

The data shows that the average download rate of China Mobile 5G in key areas is about 800Mbps, and the uplink rate is about 150Mbps. The proportion of high-quality calls of 5G voice service exceeds 96% on average. The experience of mainstream services such as WeChat video and live streaming is good, and it is at the leading level in the industry.

In the five years since the issuance of the 5G license, China Mobile has vigorously implemented the action plan from "5G+" to "AI+", carried out precise planning of mobile networks through digital and intelligent means, opened more than 2.17 million 5G base stations in total, with a global share of more than 30%, built the world's largest 5G boutique network covering the country, with advanced technology and excellent quality, and helped the economic and social digital transformation and upgrading; Practice the people centered development idea, develop and implement refined, scenario based and differentiated network optimization strategies centered on customer perception, effectively improve customer perception, constantly meet the needs of the people for a better digital life, and promote 5G to accelerate its integration into all industries and serve the public.
