Reading and Sharing Chapter 197

Don't be too big

Most companies and businesses want to be bigger. It's better to be big, strong and excellent. However, not many people seriously think about whether these "three dishes" can be eaten together?

People often say such two words: small and exquisite and coarse and clumsy. From general experience, it is difficult to coexist with big, strong and excellent.

From the biological point of view, if a company is too large, as if a person is too large, the reaction will be sluggish, the action will be slow, the efficiency will decline, and the viability will be worrying.

You see, human beings protect giant pandas, tigers, elephants and so on. I haven't heard of protecting mice, ants and so on. Today, almost all large animals need to be protected to survive.

Natural life forms first choose to be excellent, then to be strong, and finally to be large. Few life forms choose to be large. Because the "big" cost is too high, the input-output rate of survival is too low, and the quality of life is difficult to improve, which is too uneconomical. What is excellence? Is the most appropriate survival and development state.

Large animals live in the sea. In other words, in the ocean, it is possible to achieve "great, strong and excellent".

Why?

The buoyancy of sea water makes large animals do not need a strong bone system to support their bodies. In other words, the burden of their bodies is shared by the sea water.

The relationship between sea water and big fish has such characteristics: at ordinary times, big fish can't feel the existence of sea water at all. Only when they lose sea water can they feel the importance of sea water.

Big fish in the sea have water to trust, so they don't need to consume a lot of energy to develop large and hard bone tissue, but make their bodies soft and flexible, which greatly improves their viability. Sharks, whales and so on can all be "strong and excellent".

Even in the sea, large animals are a minority. Because there is no differentiated survival strategy, there is no good ecosystem. A "big" needs countless "small" to support it.

So, how can the company integrate "great, strong and excellent"? The relationship between the sea and the big fish is worth thinking about.
