Civil Engineering Online Forum \ Talent recruitment \ Enterprise recruitment \ How to determine the sewage pump for underground garage drainage?
Drainage of underground garage includes rainwater, flushing at ordinary times and fire water
When I select the pump, it shall be determined according to the flow and lift
How about the flow? Rainwater, flushing at ordinary times and fire water are calculated separately and then added up?
I checked the manual. It seems very troublesome. Is there any simple way?
How do you usually calculate?
Can you recommend a book about calculation, which is practical and has a detailed calculation process?

Thanks a lot

The pump flow is determined according to the number of starts per hour for 6 times in the specification, that is, according to the volume of the sump

My understanding is that the flow of rainwater pump is determined according to the local average annual rainfall * area of rainwater collection * simultaneous use coefficient of water pump, and the flow is calculated according to the pipeline design scheme to obtain the pump lift. As for the discharge of basement flushing water and fire fighting water, the model can be selected according to the fire fighting water consumption
