The sewage flows into the front end of the anaerobic zone first, and is vertically baffled with the mixed liquid flowing back from the middle of the anoxic zone. Therefore, there is some dissolved oxygen in the water in the front end of the anaerobic zone. After the baffled flow, the concentration of dissolved oxygen drops rapidly after the sewage enters the second and third grids, and enters the anaerobic state. (2) Applicable scope of technical process/solution


The technical process adopted in this project mainly consists of A2/O biochemical tank (or equipment) and ecological purification bed. It is applicable to scattered and small amount of domestic sewage treatment in rural areas and domestic sewage treatment in various hotels, office buildings, living quarters, etc., with a treatment scale of 5-100 tons/day.


(3) Technical process/solution features and advantages


  • Multiple tanks are connected in series to meet the actual operation conditions. Diverters and preset valves are set in each tank to control the aerobic and anoxic environment, forming a single-stage A/O or multi-stage A/O series operation mode, improving nitrogen removal efficiency, and reasonably utilizing carbon sources. Equipment can be carried out as required to speed up the project implementation progress.


  • The ecological purification bed is added with phosphorus removal filler to strengthen phosphorus precipitation and adsorption and improve phosphorus removal rate.


  • Some micro aeration pipes are added to the ecological purification bed to increase the oxygen content of the wetland system and improve the treatment effect of the purification bed. At the same time, the ecological purification bed enhances the long flow and backwash pipe laying system, further improving the sewage treatment effect and blocking prevention effect


  • Adding high porosity fillers in the biochemical tank, such as high porosity polyurethane fillers, can effectively reduce the risk of expansion in later operation, improve the efficiency of biochemical treatment, and improve the stability of the system.

Project Overview


The sewage treatment terminal in Jiming Village was completed and put into use in January 2000, benefiting 705 households and 1823 people. The main source of sewage is domestic water. The treatment process of the facility is an ecological reaction chain, with a designed daily treatment capacity of 180 tons/day and an actual daily treatment capacity of 180 tons/day. The core of the ecological reaction chain technology is the multi-layer and multi-stage biofilm A/O process, which integrates some functions of the ultra deep anaerobic pond, BC method and advanced treatment pond, and completes the pollutant removal (SS, COD, TN, ammonia nitrogen, TP, etc.) and sludge treatment (sludge reduction and stabilization) in an ecological pond.


The biological component of the ecological reaction chain process system consists of multiple food chains to form a complex ecosystem in which various organisms are interdependent and mutually restricted.


In a limited space, the whole process of water self purification is basically simulated through the artificial water ecosystem.


(2) Applicable scope of technical process/solution


At present, it is mainly popularized and used in the vast rural areas where the population is scattered and the sewage cannot be centrally treated on a large scale. The sewage type is mainly domestic sewage, and the daily treatment water volume is about 30 tons/day.

Project Overview


In 2017, Lin'an District was the first in Zhejiang to propose the creation of a global village scenic spot. In 2018, we will comprehensively carry out the upgrading of agricultural sewage standards and third-party operation and maintenance work. The project involves about 60000 rural households in Taihuyuan Town and other villages and towns. Zhinan Village is its main demonstration project. The project is located on the bank of Nantiaoxi River, the source of Taihu Lake. It is a water source protection area, with an altitude of nearly 600 meters. It is an ancient village with a history of thousands of years. There are more than 470 mu terraces on the left and right sides of the village, which is known as one of the most beautiful ancient villages in East China.


Shuangliang Shangda is responsible for the implementation of the project, providing the service of "equipment+full scheme", exploring the 4.0 mode of rural sewage treatment in village scenic spots, and comprehensively assisting the creation of the first nationwide village scenic spot.

At present, the eutrophication of rural sewage is becoming increasingly serious, and the removal of nitrogen and phosphorus has become a key and difficult point. The project adopts the process combining improved A/A/O+fermentation enhancement+ecological filter technology.


The improved A/A/O process is an efficient nitrogen and phosphorus removal technology for wastewater biological treatment. Through the organic combination of multiple microbial populations in the biochemical system, good nitrogen and phosphorus removal effects can be achieved while removing organics.


The typical characteristics of rural sewage are large fluctuation of water quality and quantity and low C/N. The project introduces modern fermentation technology into rural sewage, and uses the fermentation enhancement technology developed by the Academician Workstation of Jiangnan University to enhance the activity of microorganisms in the biochemical system. The use cost increases by about 0.1 yuan/ton. Through enhanced treatment, the impact of changes in water quality, water volume, temperature and other external factors on biological treatment efficiency can be reduced, so as to meet the requirement of 90% compliance rate.


  • The domestic sewage of all farmers is collected by the sewage pipe network after passing through the septic tank. Among them, farmhouse sewage is first removed from animal and vegetable oil by oil separator, and then enters into sewage pipe network.


  • The domestic sewage collected in the pipe network is separated from the sundries and large particle solids through the grid well, and the slightly larger garbage and sundries are removed to prevent it from entering the subsequent sewage treatment pool and blocking the filler and pipeline.


  • The sewage separated by the grid well flows into the regulating tank, making the water quality and quantity entering the biochemical tank more stable.


  • The sewage in the regulating tank is lifted into the biochemical tank. After multi-stage and multi-stage biochemical treatment, the sewage enters the sedimentation tank for sludge water separation. The supernatant is discharged after reaching the standard. Part of the settled sludge returns, and the other part of the surplus sludge is discharged to the sludge storage tank for temporary storage, and regularly pumped out for disposal.


  • The sewage after treatment in the biochemical tank enters the ecological filter for advanced treatment, which uses the physical, chemical and biological triple synergy of artificial media and microorganisms to conduct advanced treatment of the sewage. The sewage flows into the outfall well by itself, where the effluent is disinfected by chlorine tablets to ensure the stable discharge of sewage up to the standard, and some terminal effluent is reused.


(3) Process/equipment characteristics


The project introduces a new generation of FBR fermentation tank, which is a kind of integrated treatment equipment suitable for domestic rural sewage launched by Shangda Environmental Protection in view of the characteristics of domestic rural sewage with many sundries, high total nitrogen and total phosphorus. The fermentation tank adopts the process combining the composite FRP technology and the improved A/A/O+fermentation strengthening technology, which can improve the construction speed and ensure that the effluent is stable and up to standard.


Useful - stable up to standard: the process combining the improved A/A/O+fermentation enhancement technology explored by Shangda for 15 years is adopted to solve the industrial problem of phosphorus and nitrogen removal under the environment of low carbon nitrogen ratio, and the enhanced effluent meets the surface quasi Class IV water standard.


Durable - long service life: the equipment adopts composite FRP materials and processes, and takes full consideration of maintenance issues. The design service life of the product is 30 years. It can be installed on the ground or underground, and has strong adaptability to the extensive construction and use environment in rural areas.


Easy to use - management intelligence: FBR fermentation tank adopts Shangda Fuxi cloud platform for remote management. The platform has managed 20000 sites nationwide, with high maturity and stability. Operation and maintenance personnel can realize remote control, monitoring and capturing through mobile phones.


Applicable - economical: The investment and operation cost of FBR fermentation tank is moderate, and the average investment cost per household is 1000-3000 yuan, which is suitable for the economic conditions in rural areas. Sewage is collected by black ash separation method, that is, kitchen, bath and toilet septic tank drainage are collected separately, in which an oil well is set at the kitchen drainage outlet, and the sewage is collected by pipes and flows to the sewage treatment station, and a lift pump station is added in low-lying areas; The sewage treatment station adopts the whole buried integrated treatment process.
