Living near the mountain, the space has become a part of the mountain. The height and width of the mountain affect life through perception all the time. In the transformation of this hardbound house, the designer draws inspiration from the surrounding mountain environment, integrates the concept of mountain into the minimalism, and increases the openness, clarity and unfettered expressiveness of small space in terms of form expression and emotional shaping, making the style preferred by the owner more unique.
The wood grid of the whole wall has a strong texture, giving the space rich layers and textures. The neat and uniform appearance contains a variety of functional areas: refrigerators, study, and external guards are hidden behind, and the concave and convex feel of the material is perfectly integrated with the gap of the door, which is completely natural. The blank ratio of the grid and the wall has been carefully adjusted to allow enough blank space to lengthen the floor height and extend the space from the perception.
The fully open public space integrates the guest dining room and balcony. The continuity of materials and colors unifies the space, making it pure and clean, breaking the limitations of boundaries, and creating a more comfortable experience in the limited space as far as possible. The slanted floor lengthens the space visually and expands the scale of home in all directions.
Floor to ceiling windows give the space a wide view of the mountains; The axe stone wall and the rock sofa from the edra echo the mountain scenery, and the natural atmosphere runs through the interior and exterior, striking the heart. The fireplace is simple in shape, and the flue is transformed from the load-bearing wall to beautify the space. The natural openness and relaxation brought by furniture blend with each other to heal the body and mind.
The storage cabinet is covered with the whole wall, with pure form, sufficient capacity, and coexistence of beauty and practicality. Open grid and hollow design break the monotony and dreariness and decorate the space; The beam of the load-bearing wall is widened and hidden in the cabinet, so the sense of existence is greatly reduced. The space is shaped clearly and comfortably under the ultimate unity.
The restaurant can meet the needs of daily life with only one island. The overhanging design reduces the heavy feeling of the entire island platform, giving a sense of lightness to the space. Wide countertop, composite functions, marble and stainless steel texture, simple and advanced, can perfectly adapt to any scene such as dining, cooking, afternoon tea, etc., improve the utilization of space, so that the small family also has enough sense of ceremony.
The partition between the public space and the master bedroom is separated, emphasizing the sense of partition rather than the sense of boundary. Invisible door melts into the wall, eliminating the boundary; The hollowed wall is separated by oil sand glass, and the light flows between the dining room and the bedroom dresser, connecting the two functional areas. The whole space is separated continuously, maintaining a continuous experience and interaction.
The background wall of the bedroom takes the squeezing between rocks as the concept, and deliberately leaves a gap between the joints of the blocks to create the squeezing tension, echoing the existence of the mountain. Kaki and Hongzhong have reconciled the restraint and introversion of black, white and gray to inject or warm emotions into the space.
