5、 Heat exchanger design:


Heat exchanger software includes The (Luvata's), EVAP-COND (NIST's), Coildesigner (Maryland University's), HTRI (Heat Transfer Research Corporation of the United States), etc. See the instructions for use. Before using HRTI, you can read Qian Songwen's "Heat Exchanger Design Manual". EVAP-COND and Coildesigner can both simulate and calculate the condenser performance under a given air speed or air volume.


(1). The design software

There are inlet air temperature and humidity, air volume, inlet and outlet water temperature and other parameters in The, so the cooling capacity can be checked by changing the coil parameters (and the condenser performance can also be calculated). After meeting the space required for drainage, wiring, base, top cover, etc., reasonably determine the coil size and reserve a certain margin. The number of coil circuits is appropriate to ensure the pressure drop of working medium.



(2) Evap Cond design software:


EVAP-COND can calculate the heat dissipation of the traditional finned copper tube condenser under the input structural parameters and working conditions, the outlet temperature and pressure of refrigerant, the outlet temperature of air, etc., but if the pressure drop on the air side cannot be calculated, the resistance curve of the condenser pipe network cannot be made, and the working points of the fan and condenser cannot be found from the calculation results. It can visually represent the flow path.



(3). Coildesigner software:

Coildesigner has a correlation to calculate the pressure drop, which can be used to determine the working point of the fan and condenser, but the process needs to be manually adjusted, until the calculated pressure drop at the air side under the input air volume is very close to the static pressure of the fan, it is considered that the calculation result is the air volume and static pressure at the working point of the fan. Coildesigner determines evaporation temperature and condensation temperature according to this iterative method.


(4). HTRI heat exchanger design software
HTRI is more professional in heat exchange. According to the structural module, it can be used for air cooler, economizer, plate exchanger, tube shell sleeve, spiral plate, hairpin tube shell, pipe laying tool, vibration analysis, burner shell tube heat exchanger example. The resistance of pipe, pipe accessories and other equipment should be reasonably selected to ensure that the total resistance is within the specified range
