Parametric paving SU can also do?

There is always a little partner asking

How to model this parametric pavement with SU

Let's see how it is done

Specific steps

1. First, download a reference image of color block diagram on the Internet, and then use the filter - pixelation - color block processing in PS, or image tracing in AI to get a perfect color block diagram. (Use the pen tool to draw the desired texture color block)

2. Draw a circular component array with the same size as the color block picture frame.

3. Use the zoom group as shown in [Parameter zoom] (SUAPP No. 462) to make a moving interference on the component.

Pay attention to parameter settings

4. Adjust the view to fill the components with layered colors. If the color selection is not good, the [Color Panel] (SUAPP No. 435) can be used for color selection and filling.

5. Use [Z-axis zeroing] (SUAPP No. 55) to unify the components in one plane, and manually adjust the components with wrong color.

6. Copy one component of each color and explode it. Right click the object with the same material to set it as unique.

Note that the color assigned to the component should be filled into the line surface of the component in this step.

7. Select the area to be merged and use [Random Exchange Component] (SUAPP No. 461) to randomize the location.

Is it very simple

This pavilion is too simple. My SU is happy to blossom!

This is a very realistic flower shaped pavilion. You can clearly see the shape of flowers and petals. It's not difficult to do it. Take a look at the tutorial
