What is CTB battery body integration technology?

BYD Seal was created by a design team led by Wolfgang Iger, BYD's global styling director. Based on the design concept of "Ocean Aesthetics", it deduces a more dynamic and rich aesthetic feeling of sports. Seal doesn't adopt the straight lines that are commonly used in electric vehicles. Its whole vehicle has a sharp shape and a lower body posture. With the perfect body proportion of short front and rear overhangs and long wheelbase, people can feel a strong sense of movement and elegance at the first sight.

Seals use the body colors of Arctic Blue, Aurora White, Dark Sky Black, Atlantis Grey, Sea Lens Blue, Windblown Grass Green and Rosemary Grey, as well as the option of Atlantis Grey (matte). These colors are based on the tonality of ocean color, which is more suitable for young people.

Birth of e-platform 3.0 Seal has more advanced technologies

As the epitome of e-platform 3.0, BYD Seal gives full play to its technical advantages, carries a deeply integrated eight in one electric power assembly, is equipped with a wide temperature range efficient heat pump air conditioner, and cooperates with the battery pack refrigerant direct cooling and heating technology to develop the system efficiency to the extreme.

Seals are equipped with a standard wide temperature range efficient heat pump system, which can efficiently adjust the temperature of the battery pack through the direct cooling and heating technology of refrigerant, and can control the temperature of the passenger compartment with low energy consumption as required. The heat pump system can also absorb the waste heat of the electric power assembly and work in a wide temperature range of - 30 ℃ - 60 ℃. Compared with the traditional PTC heating device, the temperature control speed of the heat pump system is faster, and the driving range in winter can be increased by 20%.

Seals adopts the high-voltage electric drive boost charging scheme, which is faster and can significantly reduce the waiting time for users to charge. Up to 150kW DC fast charge is supported. According to the different battery power, 30% - 80% of the fast charge time of the standard endurance version and the long endurance version is within 30 minutes. It can charge for 15 minutes and drive for 300 km.
