Wordpress is really not my dish

In the past two days, I have been struggling with blog topics. I thought that maybe Wordpress could have what I wanted. Today, I began to struggle locally to convert Typecho to Wordpress. Unexpectedly, I struggled for a long time and finally gave up.

First of all, converting articles is a painful thing. Finding a plug-in can generate data into an xml file, which is already perfect. Later, in the process of data comparison, it was found that several articles were missing, and the original problems were not serious, so they can be supplemented manually.

Second, the URL of the date archive will be prefixed with article by default. It is not difficult to solve the problem through code (consistent with Typecho).

Third, the number of article views has not been imported. The topic of wp writes the number of views to the postname table, and uses SQL statements to guide the number of views to solve another problem.

Fourth, the menu. I can't figure out where the menu of wp is edited. I don't understand...

Fifth, use the backstage gadget to add the latest comment. There is no comment, only one box, heartbreak.

Sixth, there is the theme of continuing to toss around. A theme that you can find at random is not my food in the end and will definitely be changed.

It's better not to change it than to bother with it. A few hours down, give up.

  1. Fortunately, you didn't change it. I was a wp for many years, and I escaped this year with a strong heart.

    1. wp, I used it before, but I changed it when I felt uncomfortable, so I never go back
