On June 30, Tiandi Huayu, a domestic highway express giant, released the latest news that it would acquire Beijing Rufengda Express, a subsidiary of Vancl. After the acquisition, Rufengda will operate independently as the express brand under Tiandi Huayu. Tiandi Huayu has also started to transform from a highway logistics enterprise to a comprehensive logistics provider integrating highway express and domestic express.
According to the statistics of CITIC Industry Fund, the 200000 supply chain logistics customers controlled by Tiandi Huayu have at least one demand for express delivery every day. This means that Tiandi Huayu can bring at least 200000 new orders to Rufengda every day. "After resource integration, Rufengda's order delivery timeliness is expected to increase by 30% - 40%, and the cost of each order delivery can be reduced by at least 20% - 30%."
In 2012, the logistics data provided by Fanke was that the distribution volume of Fanke accounted for more than 90% of Rufeng, and the rest mainly came from Xiaomi, China Merchants Bank, Yougou and other enterprises. At present, the business volume of Vancl accounts for only 10% of the total volume of Rufengda. This may explain the best reason why Rufengda is eager to remarry.
Rufengda Express was once called by Vancl CEO Chen Nian as "an inseparable part of Vancl brand", but now it is taken into account by Tiandi Huayu Company, wholly-owned by CITIC Industry Fund, and transformed into a comprehensive logistics service provider.
"Due to the confidentiality clauses signed by both parties, it is not convenient to disclose the details of transaction pricing, such as the valuation of Rufengda." The relevant person in charge of CITIC Industry Fund said that after the completion of the transaction, the highway express enterprise Tiandi Huayu and Rufengda Express will realize the sharing of data and customer resources. This means that Tiandi Huayu can bring at least 200000 new orders to Rufengda every day.
This is an exciting number. According to the data previously disclosed by Rufengda, its daily average order distribution volume exceeded 200000, with 400000 orders per day at the peak. "This shows that after entering the market, e-commerce express should actively seek its own role to occupy the market." Ma Renhong, Secretary General of Guangdong Logistics Association, predicted that it is very likely that Jingdong Mall will also spin off its logistics business and form a "logistics giant" with the "South China City" in which Tencent shares.
As the saying goes, "A long period of cooperation must be divided, and a long period of separation must be combined", the express delivery system built by e-commerce may generally be like this.
