In the north, the heating season is usually from November to March of the next year, while in the rest of the time, the heating boiler is generally out of service. In this state of long-term stagnation, due to the high temperature environment during heating, the metal wall will produce high-temperature oxidation. In case of rain weather during the shutdown period, the internal water vapor of the boiler will billow, and the metal wall will be prone to electrochemical corrosion, which will affect the heat exchange efficiency and service life of the boiler when it is reused.

There are two main reasons for the corrosion of boiler tubes. One is that the boiler will produce a higher temperature during operation, usually>500 ℃; Second, the fuel used in the boiler will produce smoke containing corrosive substances after combustion, such as sulfide, chloride, fluoride, etc. The existence of two conditions will lead to different degrees of corrosion of boiler tubes

In order to avoid this phenomenon, it is necessary to carry out anti-corrosion treatment on the metal wall. However, ordinary metal antirust paint usually has a temperature resistance lower than 200 ℃, and will become inactive or even fall off under high temperature.
