More than 2000 people from 100 teams set out from Nanxi River Beach Music Park, passed through Nanxi Beach Forest, Xinan Beautiful Pastoral Demonstration Base, Zheng'ao Village, Huangjin'ao, and reached the Education Base of the Third Red Army on foot. The whole journey is about 10 kilometers.
At the opening ceremony in the morning, more than 2000 members of the team, wearing Red Army hats, holding red flags and singing red songs, lined up in the shape of the party flag and set out in turn. History is the best textbook. On the way back to the Red Army, a live broadcast of "Party history experts talk about the history of the Party" was also held, telling netizens about the struggles of the 10th and 3rd Red Army.
In order to inherit and carry forward the revolutionary spirit of the Red Army, the Propaganda Department of Yongjia County Party Committee has held a large-scale event of "Refollowing the Red Army Road" every year since 2010, which has been held for 12 consecutive times. Over the years, Yantou Town, Fenglin Town, Daroyan Town, Qiaotou Town, Yongjia County and other places where the Red Army had once made its mark have left the footprints of the team members, and the number of participants has also increased from more than 100 in the first session to more than 3000.
Generations of Yongjia people have carried forward the spirit of the Red Tenth and Third Army, adhering to their original aspiration and forging ahead. The relevant person in charge of Yongjia County said that the activity of taking the Red Army Road again aims to guard the "red root", create an "important window", let the fire of belief continue, let the red gene blend into the blood, and let the red spirit inspire powerful forces.
