Each of your works presents a unique style. Where does the design inspiration of these works come from?

Originating from life, creativity is the soul of home design. The most important ability of designers is to explore and find creativity, and transform these embryonic artistic beauty into real beauty in space. We can visit more art exhibitions, visit scenic spots, feel the humanistic scenery, keep up with the trend, and explore popular elements. Designers should search for rich inspiration in life, keep records, and then apply creativity to works, so that design, soul and life can be perfectly combined.

What do you think have in common with popular design?

The design that is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people must meet the needs of customers. Compared with designers, the relationship between customers and space is the most profound and lasting. Therefore, if the space is difficult to meet the aesthetic needs of the audience, it will cause a long-term "aesthetic torture". In the eyes of a thousand people, there are a thousand Hamlets. Everyone has a different definition of beauty. In the design practice, I will actively understand the owner's aesthetic, listen to each owner's expectations for home, and make targeted design. And every family has its own story, and their exclusive story is also an important source of inspiration for my design. The stories of thousands of families are like pieces of jigsaw puzzle, which combine into the spirit of the family. As space designers, we should piece together the soul of space in the name of design and help the owner complete this exclusive puzzle about a better life.

2023 is a turning year after the epidemic. What do you think the future design should be?

Although the epidemic has reached the turning point, the concern for health will remain in people's minds for a long time. In general, people's time at home has been extended in the past few years, and the indoor air quality has also received unprecedented attention. Many owners said they hoped to enjoy life in a more natural and comfortable environment. Improving the antibacterial ability of indoor space is their key concern. In the future, the design should combine the concept of "healthy life" with the design concept, so that the family space can realize the linkage between entertainment work and healthy life. A healthy body is the foundation of happiness, and a reliable sterilization assistant is the guarantee of clean air. The process of building an ideal home step by step will always encounter some difficult problems. For example, indoor pet raising. Whether young people who are generally under great pressure at work or old people who lack children to accompany them, they will choose to live with pets, and the companionship of people and pets has gradually become the mainstream.
