The meeting conveyed and learned the spirit of the Notice of the State Council on Printing and Distributing the Outline of High Quality Meteorological Development (2022-2035), the Implementation Opinions of the People's Government of the Tibet Autonomous Region on Accelerating the Promotion of High Quality Meteorological Development, and the Work Plan of Lhasa for Promoting the High Quality Development of Meteorological Support Services in Large Cities (2022-2025), We listened to the report of Nimu County Meteorological Bureau on high-quality meteorological development and meteorological disaster prevention and reduction in the whole county, and put forward specific requirements for further promoting high-quality meteorological development in Nimu County.

All departments should have a deep understanding of the importance of meteorological work, further clarify the idea of high-quality meteorological development, strengthen responsibility, take the initiative, and constantly enhance the sense of mission, responsibility and urgency to promote high-quality meteorological development.
The meeting stressed that all units should, in accordance with the division of tasks for high-quality meteorological development, effectively strengthen coordination and communication, actively cooperate in accordance with their responsibilities, and form joint efforts. At the same time, further establish and improve the system and mechanism of local finance to ensure the sustainable development of meteorological undertakings in Nimu, and comprehensively complete the strategic task of high-quality meteorological development.
According to the requirements of the meeting, we should organize a dense meteorological monitoring network, improve the comprehensive application system of weather radar, and form an integrated, coordinated and efficient precision meteorological monitoring system; The meteorological department should continue to promote the progressive forecasting and early warning service, establish and improve the direct reporting mechanism of major weather processes for county committees and governments; It is necessary to give full play to the service support and scientific and technological leading role of meteorology in coping with climate change, developing and utilizing climate resources, protecting and repairing ecosystems, explore and carry out climate change impact assessment and response research, promote high-quality weather modification work, and help the construction of ecological civilization in Nimu County; We should continue to promote and improve the system and mechanism of disaster prevention and reduction that is "led by the government, linked by departments, and participated by the society", consolidate the main responsibility of meteorological disaster prevention and response, strengthen the application of meteorological radar, lightning location and other monitors in the short-term and imminent monitoring and early warning of disastrous weather, do a good job in meteorological support services for various major activities, and effectively build the first line of defense for meteorological disaster prevention and reduction.
