He Ping, an outstanding Tibetan volunteer

He, once a seed of the Western Plan project, has now opened a flower of life in the holy city on the plateau. He, once an ignorant youth who dreamed of traveling around the world, has now become an ordinary cadre of the discipline inspection and supervision system in ethnic areas. He, once a student who aspired to be a writer, has now found a broad stage to write his life in the snow. His name is He Ping. He was born in Shaanxi in 1978. After graduating from China Agricultural University majoring in business administration in July 2004, he took part in the project of college students' volunteer service in the Western China Plan. He volunteered in the Lhasa Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League for two years. He was assigned to the Nimu County Committee Office of Lhasa by the Lhasa Municipal Party Committee. He is now working in the Lhasa Discipline Inspection Committee of the Communist Party of China as the deputy director of the office.

Once with the idea of "experiencing Tibet and enriching life", he was deeply attracted by the blue sky, white clouds, simple folkway and rich heritage at the first sight when he walked into the plateau. In the days when he served the Communist Youth League Municipal Committee, he spread his responsibilities and obligations as a "volunteer" like a seed, and used his own actions to practice the vow of "doing his best, helping others and serving the society without pay". The Communist Youth League is a group full of vitality and vitality. The work of the Communist Youth League is the most cross disciplinary and industry wide work. At first, he participated in various work with a learning attitude to get familiar with the business as soon as possible. Starting from drafting basic documents such as briefings, plans, notices, etc., he actively participated in the preparation of various activities for training, In his simple volunteer service life, he is only full and busy. In those days, where there was work, there was his position, and where there were activities, there was his figure. Gradually, he gradually realized that there was a great shortage of secretarial and computer professionals in Tibet, and combined this understanding with his own life expansion to plan. In his work, he actively participated in the organization and decision-making of some activities, and constantly improved his level of official document writing. After work, he improved himself by reading and writing, He actively participated in various public welfare activities such as teaching in orphanages organized by volunteers. In this way, he experienced the happiness of youth and realized the values and achievements of life in his ordinary post and ordinary work. Due to his outstanding performance in work in the past two years, he was selected to participate in the training class for minority league cadres held by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League. He was successively rated as the "excellent volunteer" of the whole city and region by Lhasa City and the Tibet Autonomous Region. He wrote the article "In that year, I chose to pursue dreams" based on his volunteer service experience. In 2006, he participated in the People's Daily Online, Xinhuanet The second prize was awarded in the online essay solicitation activity of "My Chinese Dream" jointly held by ten major online media, including Sohu. com.

After the service period, the leaders and colleagues around often mentioned that they really knew the "volunteer" through him and hoped that he could stay and work for a long time. At first, he intended to leave Tibet, and in the "Blooming Youth" volunteer program recorded by Lhasa TV Station on the eve of the May 4th Youth Day in 2006, he publicly expressed his view that "leaving Tibet can also contribute to Tibet's leapfrog development and long-term stability". The turning point came in June 2006, when he was transferred by the Lhasa Municipal People's Government to participate in the preparatory work for the "Lhasa Shelton Festival" (one of the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage), where he was more deeply exposed to the unique and profound humanistic feelings of Tibet and found a broader life stage to realize self value. So, after obtaining the consent of his relatives, he chose to stay in Tibet and take root in the west. In the following years, he was selected by the municipal government to participate in the preparation of the "Lhasa Shelton Festival" for five consecutive years, and made his due contribution to promoting the excellent traditional Tibetan culture. He was once rated by the municipal government as an "advanced worker" in the preparation of the Shelton Festival.

Rooting in the west requires not only impulse and passion, but also rationality and action. From a volunteer in the Western Plan to a Han cadre in a minority area, this transformation seems to be plain, but it is actually full of complexity and extraordinary. After being assigned to work in Nimu County, nearly 200 kilometers away from Lhasa, he deeply realized a series of changes brought about by this change. In addition to carefully completing the work assigned by the organization, his first task is to make himself mature politically as soon as possible, constantly strengthen his own political theory learning, and make his political position more firm and his political consciousness more acute. Through hard work, on March 20, 2008, he was urgently transferred to the Publicity Department of the CPC Lhasa Municipal Committee, and was specially involved in the writing of the promotional text of "Lhasa" March 14 "Incident Documentary" and the production of the CD, and successfully completed the task. During his stay in Tibet, he always maintained a high sense of political responsibility and high passion for work. He gave full play to his gradually developed writing expertise in various work organized and arranged. He successively drafted county wide work materials in Nimu County, took charge of all written work in the Office of the Organizing Committee of Lhasa Shelton Festival, and participated in the drafting of various documents in the Publicity Department of the Municipal Party Committee. At the end of 2008, he took an active part in the city's civil service public placement examination, and entered the CPC Lhasa Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection with the first score in written examination, interview and inspection. New posts are both opportunities and challenges. In the discipline inspection and supervision work, he adhered to the positive attitude during the volunteer service, devoted himself to the work of the organs, carefully drafted various documents including the work report of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, actively participated in various activities organized by the unit, and won the affirmation of leaders, the respect of colleagues, and the attention of the organization with his own practical actions, For this reason, he was organized to participate in the training class for the director of the National Discipline Inspection and Supervision System Research Office in Hangzhou, and was successively rated as "Excellent Civil Servant" in the annual assessment of civil servants for two consecutive years in 2009 and 2010.

No regrets, choose youth, take root in the west and write life. If voluntary life is a spiritual treasure of his life, taking root in the west is a spiritual treasure house of his life. When the idea of "going to the west, to the grassroots, to the place where the motherland needs most" was still the idea of most young people, he had already practiced such an idea with his own actions and choices. Because, no matter at any time, no matter where he went, he deeply understood that only after he came to the magnificent Tibet, did he see his own unique life scenery.
