They were determined to go to the grass-roots level that the motherland needs most to realize their own values, to devote themselves to volunteer services with full enthusiasm, to transform the knowledge learned in universities into the ability to serve the grass-roots level, and to realize the youth ideal in practice. The representative of the student's parents said that they were very grateful to the school for providing students with a good learning environment and the opportunity to work in the west. They hoped that the students would continue to maintain the spirit of hard work after going to the west, adjust their mentality, study modestly, blend into the new environment as soon as possible, accept training at the basic level, and devote themselves.

Li Mingshun affirmed the life choice of graduates to volunteer to serve the west. As a builder of the west, he hopes that students should combine their personal ideals with the development of the west and with the development of the country. In the process of service, they should grow up, serve the country and achieve the future; I hope that the students can carry forward the spirit of hardworking dedication, overcome difficulties, never forget their original intention, and win glory for their alma mater with the belief of winning.
