He Junke praised the young volunteers who helped Laos as "folk ambassadors"

On the afternoon of September 7, He Junke, the first secretary of the Central Secretariat of the Communist Youth League, cordially received the members of the tenth batch of Chinese (Shanghai) young volunteers' service team to Laos during their visit to Laos. Wang Wentian, the Chinese ambassador to Laos, and other members of the visiting delegation participated in the reception.

In order to strengthen Sino foreign cooperation and exchanges, promote China's volunteer service in foreign aid, and deepen the achievements of international exchanges between young people and middle-aged people, since 2002, entrusted by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Ministry of Commerce and the China Youth Volunteers Association, Shanghai has sent 10 batches of 105 outstanding young volunteers to participate in the China Youth Volunteers Overseas Service Program in Laos, to carry out Chinese and English teaching in Laos Volunteer services in sports training, computer training, medical care, agricultural science and technology have had a positive and far-reaching impact on China and Laos.

During his visit, He Junke spoke highly of the project of China (Shanghai) Youth Volunteers Overseas Service Plan to Laos, and fully affirmed the achievements of the Communist Youth League Shanghai Municipal Committee and Shanghai Youth Volunteers Association in this project, saying that this project "is the golden signboard of our youth work now". He Junke said that the project has had a good impact in China and Laos, and has been unanimously recognized by relevant leaders of Laos and all sectors of society. It is a good card for Chinese youth in Laos.

In the morning of the same day, He Junke, accompanied by the central secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth League, Alexay, and other relevant personnel, observed the open Chinese teaching class of "The Belt and Road" and Us held by the members of the service team in Laos, and held a symposium with representatives of students studying in China and Laos.

Subsequently, the tenth batch of service team members reported on the service. Xiao Han, the leader of the service team, introduced the overall work and life of the service team, and suggested that we hope to carry out more volunteer service projects in other countries along the "Belt and Road", select more young people to participate in folk diplomacy, and the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League and Shanghai Youth League are willing to undertake and participate in more foreign aid projects, reflecting the mission of the youth of big countries and the generation of powerful countries. Other team members also shared their feelings on their work in health care, media communication, cultural exchange, information technology, sports teaching, etc.

After carefully listening to the team members' reports, He Junke spoke highly of the tenth batch of service teams, praising them as "glorifying Chinese youth" and "folk ambassadors". He Junke said that the work of members of the service team is "not simple" and will solve their concerns and suggestions. Finally, he kindly urged the team members to pay attention to safety, strengthen exchanges with Laos colleagues and friends, and contribute youth strength to the development and friendship between China and Laos.

It is reported that He Junke's visit to Laos is to implement a series of instructions on developing the friendship between the youth of the two countries reached by the leaders of China and Laos, and further expand and strengthen the exchanges between the youth of the two countries under the guidance of the "Belt and Road".
