Gongtong Pongwiji accepted the donation and thanked on behalf of Laos. He said that this equipment donation would help Laos a lot, and Laos would properly use medical equipment to let the love from China blossom and bear fruit. He spoke highly of the work of Chinese young volunteers in Laos and said that the volunteers were "folk ambassadors" of the two countries and had made positive contributions to the deepening of bilateral cooperation and friendship.

Zhao Chenggang said that the good and cooperative relationship between China and Laos is increasingly strengthened, and the recent exchange of visits between leaders of the two countries reflects the mutual support of both sides in all aspects and the promotion of comprehensive development and cooperation. Laos also gives strong support to China in combating transnational crimes and chasing fugitives. This donation activity sponsored by Chinese young and old volunteers is also a small epitome of the friendship and interaction between the two countries. I hope there will be more exchanges and cooperation in the future.

At the donation ceremony, Jiang Chaoyin, a volunteer, received Lao's thanks.

Under the coordination and organization of the eighth batch of Chinese (Shanghai) young volunteers' service team to Laos and Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital, one of the volunteer sending units, Beijing Tongna Medical Group, Shanghai Bojin Medical Instrument Co., Ltd., Aike (Shanghai) Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Guangci Medical Instrument Co., Ltd, In view of the fact that there are more car accident trauma patients in Laos, a total of nearly 3.5 million yuan of aid materials were specially raised for orthopedic medical devices in 109 hospitals and the General Hospital of the Armed Police.

According to Jiang Chaoyin, the chief orthopedic doctor of Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital, who serves 109 hospitals in Laos, in order to better carry out voluntary medical assistance services in Laos, the donated equipment involves high-tech fields, including X-ray machines, surgical light plates and other advanced equipment, Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital also provided surgeons from 109 hospitals in Laos with training opportunities to study orthopaedic technology and theory in Shanghai. I hope to strive to truly achieve the goal of "giving them fishing" and work for the benefit of the Lao people.
