The National PMO trained the key personnel of excellent PMOs from all over the country

From May 25 to 28, the training class for key personnel of the 2015 Western Plan Excellent Project Office was held in the National Youth Jinggangshan Revolutionary Tradition Education Base. Yang Song, the head of the Ministry of Chronicles and Works of the Central Youth League, and Wang Mingxue, the deputy head of the Youth League, attended the class and gave lectures to the trainees.

This training class takes the form of special lectures, work explanations, experience sharing, practical teaching, group discussion, and centralized question answering. In the course, it gives consideration to the work theory of volunteer service and the specific practice of the Western Plan, focusing on the new situation and requirements of the development of the Western Plan, safety management practices, volunteer insurance work, and career development. In the training class, Liang Lvqi, president of Beijing Youth Political College, and Zhu Xiaoming, Sina, respectively taught youth volunteer service and cultivation of socialist core values, new media propaganda concepts, methods and skills and other topics; Wang Bing, the head of the Volunteer Department of the Shandong Youth League Provincial Committee, and Han Zongyuan, the Xinjiang Youth League District Committee, shared their experiences on the East West interaction and on-the-job management as representatives of the recruiting province and the service province respectively; Eight backbones from universities and local project offices also shared their experience in improving the daily management of the Western Plan from the perspective of practice. The training class also discussed and exchanged the common problems, working ideas and measures of the Western Plan in groups for many times, and answered the common questions raised by the trainees.

The training course effectively deepened the understanding and understanding of project offices at all levels on the western planning work, fully promoted the communication and exchange between grass-roots project offices, effectively strengthened the construction of the western planning work team, strongly promoted the implementation of the new round of work of the western planning in all regions, and further continued to improve the level of volunteer service management and team building. A total of 322 key personnel from 117 service county project offices and 205 university project offices rated as excellent in the 2013-2014 performance appraisal of the Western Plan participated in the training.
