The National Project Office trained the leader of the Chinese Youth Volunteer Graduate Teaching Corps

In 2015, the training class for the leaders of China Youth Volunteer Postgraduate Branch was held in the National Youth Jinggangshan Revolutionary Tradition Education Base.

From May 19 to 22, the 2015 Training Class for Leaders of China Youth Volunteer Postgraduate Teaching Corps was held in the National Youth Jinggangshan Revolutionary Tradition Education Base. A total of 184 leaders of the 2015-2016 (17th) Postgraduate Teaching Corps from 184 universities across the country participated in the training.

The trainees visited the Jinggangshan Museum.

The training class took the form of special lectures, experience sharing, and centralized Q&A, focusing on the safety management, team building, teaching practice, project design and other topics of teaching support. In the training class, the former research team leaders from four universities, including Tsinghua University, shared the stories and experiences of their teams in turn; Shi Xu, secretary of the Youth League Committee of colleges and universities, and Lin Xusheng made special reports on volunteer service, socialist core values, and the growth and development of members of the Youth League from practice. The training class invited Huang Yong, a senior journalist, to talk with the students about the communication methods of volunteer service, and invited Professor Tan Jianguang, Vice President of China Youth Volunteer Association, to teach the students about the design and innovation of volunteer service projects. The training class also conducted several group discussions and exchanges on the work of the postgraduate teaching support group, and focused on answering some specific questions raised by the trainees.

The students reviewed the oath of joining the Party in the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery.

The training effectively promoted the communication between the leaders of the volunteer teaching group, helped them to better establish the spirit of volunteer service, further improved the ability of volunteer teaching work, became familiar with the general situation of the service place and job settings, and strengthened the construction of the backbone team of young volunteers.

From 2015 to 2016 (the 17th), the Chinese Youth Volunteer Group for Postgraduate Education is composed of 2045 fresh graduates from 184 colleges and universities across the country. At the end of July, it will go to more than 400 primary and secondary schools in 19 provinces (regions and cities) in central and western China and 257 counties and districts in three minority autonomous prefectures, including Xiangxi in Hunan, Enshi in Hubei and Yanbian in Jilin, Carry out one-year volunteer education service. In the past 17 years, the China Youth Volunteer Postgraduate Education Corps has sent 11901 people to carry out volunteer education services.
