How to use Excel to make aging analysis table of raw material inventory

Ensure that the raw material inventory management follows the first in, first out principle. In view of the natural loss and aging of materials, use Excel to build an inventory aging analysis table to improve management efficiency.

1. Open an Excel table, create the following table, and set the cell format separately. Set the cell format as: Column B (Receipt Qty): numeric value; Column C (warehousing date): date; E. Columns F and G are numerical values (inventory days, inventory months, and inventory years): 1 decimal place is reserved; Other columns: text.

2. Enter the formula [=TODAY() - C3] in cell E3. The to-day function returns the current system date, and its expression is TODAY().

3. Press Enter to get the inventory days of raw material A.

4. Enter the formula [=E3/30] in the F3 cell, that is,=inventory days/30 days, and January=30 days.

5. Press Enter to get the inventory months of raw material A.

6. Enter the formula [=E3/365] in the G3 cell, that is,=inventory days/365 days, 1 year=365 days.

7. Press Enter to get the inventory years of raw material A.

8. Select E3 to G3 cells, place the mouse on the lower right corner until [+] appears, and press and hold to fill the sequence downward to [+].

9. The aging of raw material B, C... products will be calculated!
