IV Introduction of the speaker
Zhang Liangsheng, Qiushi Distinguished Professor of Zhejiang University, mainly focusing on plants (Flower) Genomics, gene resource mining, molecular evolution and other research directions; First analyzed the genomes of water lily, eustoma grandiflorum, jasmine, azalea, cinnamomum camphora and banana, focused on the gene resource mining of flower quality traits, and excavated a number of key genes for flower development, flower color, flower fragrance and other quality traits; For example, the leadership team first analyzed the genome of water lilies in the world, revealed the origin and evolutionary characteristics of early flowering plants, and discovered the key synthetic genes of blue petals and flower fragrance (Nature, 2020); Recently led the team to analyze the genome of cultivated triploid banana (Nature Genetics, cover paper, 2024); Since 2020, nearly 20 papers have been published in Nature, Nature Genetics, Plant Biotechnology Journal, New Phytologist, Horticulture Research and other internationally renowned journals as correspondents or first authors (including co authors); Served as Deputy Editor in Chief (2021-2025) of Horticultural Plant Journal (Zone 1, Chinese Academy of Sciences), Editorial Board Member of Critical Review in Plant Sciences, Plants, Frontiers in Ecology and Evolution, Editorial Board Member of Horticultural Journal and Director of Chinese Horticultural Society.
