In order to strengthen the communication between teachers and students, listen to the voice of students, answer questions, and help young students grow and become talents, on May 8, the School of Landscape Architecture held a symposium for teachers and students in Science and Engineering 3302 Conference Room. Xu Guanghui, president of the college, and Li Shujun, vice president of the college attended the meeting. Heads of relevant functional departments, team members of the School of Landscape Architecture, principals of various disciplines, teacher representatives and more than 30 student representatives attended the symposium.
At the meeting, student representatives of all grades and majors expressed their satisfaction and gratitude for the positive learning atmosphere and the teachers' conscientious and responsible teaching attitude. At the same time, in combination with the actual situation, they put forward puzzles and appeals from the aspects of teaching content, curriculum arrangement, teaching facilities, practice and training, public examinations, graduate employment, logistics support, campus environment, etc. The leaders and teachers at the meeting recorded each question fed back by the students, answered some questions on the spot, and said that they would sort out the questions, opinions and suggestions and carefully study and deal with them.
Xu Guanghui listened carefully to the speeches of teachers and students, and affirmed the overall good teaching condition and learning atmosphere of the School of Landscape Architecture. He stressed that it is necessary to further strengthen the connotation construction, deepen the integration of production and teaching, constantly improve the teaching methods, effectively promote the reform of education and teaching, improve the quality of education and teaching, innovate the talent training model, and improve the quality of talent training. He requested that all departments of each college should open communication channels, carefully collect relevant opinions and suggestions, focus on solving the reasonable demands of students, and do a good job in serving students in their study and life. He urged young students to set lofty ideals and goals as soon as possible, make good plans, cherish time, enhance the awareness of active learning, constantly improve their ability to find, analyze and solve problems, master core professional knowledge and skills, and contribute to national construction.
Li Shujun put forward suggestions on improving the discipline competition, curriculum arrangement, talent cultivation and other aspects of the College of Landscape Architecture.
After the meeting, the participating teachers came to the training site of the "Zhejiang University Student Structure Design Competition" to greet the participants, carefully inquired about the preparation for the competition, and encouraged everyone to strengthen their confidence and strive to achieve good results in the competition.
