On November 24, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held an on-site meeting of national advanced manufacturing clusters in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. The meeting summarized and exchanged the work experience of the three years since the implementation of the special action for the development of advanced manufacturing clusters, announced the list of 45 national advanced manufacturing clusters, and deployed the cultivation and upgrading of national clusters.

According to the published list, the project of Beijing Tianjin Hebei Life Health Cluster was officially selected. The project is recommended by Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, organized by the People's Government of Daxing District, Beijing, and declared by Beijing Pharmaceutical Industry Association as a promotion agency. The project covers the life and health industry in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and has been fully supported by Tianjin Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.

The Beijing Pharmaceutical Industry Association took the lead in setting up a cluster promotion working group, and jointly carried out the construction of the three life and health industry clusters with Tianjin International Biomedical Joint Research Institute and Hebei Pharmaceutical Industry Association. The Beijing Tianjin Hebei region is also an important part of the capital and its strategic position is very important. It is one of the regions with the most dynamic economy, a high degree of openness, strong innovation ability, and the largest population absorption in China.
