On March 29, the "Three Voices Campus" speech (story telling) contest for primary and secondary school students in the urban school district in the 2023 school year was held in Chenxi Road Primary School. The competition was divided into two groups: junior high school students' speech and primary school students' story telling. A total of 60 contestants selected by each school participated in the competition.

On the field, the contestants closely followed the theme of the 31st National Youth Patriotic Reading and Education Activity, "Strive for a New Journey and Be a Successor", and told their own life ideals, life perceptions and goals from different perspectives of learning, life, family and growth.

In the story telling session of primary school students, children either use red stories to tell the bloody legends of revolutionary heroes, or use vivid stories in life to express their determination to courageously pursue dreams and work hard. Each story is full of sincere feelings and profound educational significance, which interprets the unique understanding of "being a good successor" from different angles, and shows the spirit of youth in the new era, loving the party, loving the country, and being positive.

Middle school students' speeches are more thoughtful and profound. Chen Yizhuo, a student of Lecheng Public Boarding School, described the warmth and temperature of the city of "Yueqing" and expressed his love for his hometown and motherland with the title of "Carrying the" Temperature "to the End"; Chen Yanxu from Lecheng No. 1 Middle School told the story of a family's "running", and made the clank pledge of "taking the baton, continuing to run, and striving forward"... They used confident posture and clear thinking to focus on the theme of "striving for a new journey, and being a good successor", either with passion or humor, and made full use of facial expressions and body language, It explains the ideal pursuit of "the country is strong when young people are strong, and the country is smart when young people are smart".

This activity not only provided a platform for students in urban school districts to show, but also made them deeply understand their responsibilities and missions as successors. In the new journey, they will study hard and make continuous progress to contribute to the realization of the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

The competition will be scored on the spot to be fair, just and open, and finally 12 outstanding players will be selected to participate in the 23rd Youth Patriotic Reading Education Competition in Yueqing on behalf of the school district.
