In order to promote art education in all schools in the city, improve the artistic cultivation of teachers and students, improve the teaching mode of "basic art knowledge and basic skills+artistic aesthetic experience+artistic specialty", popularize aesthetic education practice activities for everyone, enrich the after-school life of students, and build a good platform for students with artistic expertise to experience and show themselves. Yueqing Education Bureau organized and held the 2023 art festival competition for primary and secondary schools in the city with the theme of "creating the beauty of art and educating new people in the era".       

From March 30 to April 27, the performance competition of this art festival consists of 10 projects, including vocal music, instrumental music, dance, recitation, drama, and aesthetic education achievement display, which are held in Yueqing Yuying Boarding School, Yueqing Experimental Primary School, and Yueqing Jianshe Road Primary School. The competition is divided into three groups: primary school group, junior high school group, and senior high school group, with more than 450 programs participating. At the same time, more than 1.5 million people watched the live broadcast of the festival.
