For specific requirements of the rules, please refer to the project assignment in Annex 1.

2. Organizational form

Live competition is adopted. The contestants shall bring their own computers and robots, as well as a number of related spare parts (see the project assignment for specific requirements).

3. Registration procedure

For each project of intelligent robot, each school is required to report 3 teams (no more than 2 teams of students), each team is required to have 2 students, and each team is required to report 1 instructor.

All schools are requested to submit the Application Form for Students of Intelligent Robot Project (Annex 2) and the Summary Form for the List of Recommended Teams of Intelligent Robot Project (Annex 3) to Yueqing Education Technology Center before April 14, 2023.

(3) Requirements for intelligent robots (Lego special)

1. Theme

With the theme of "Craftsmanship Inspiration", Lego explores, ponders and presents the power of art innovation and change in all walks of life. The participating teams are encouraged to look at art in a creative way, change art with innovative thinking, combine art with science, technology, mathematics, engineering and other directions, and seek deeper expression and wider influence of art through scientific and technological means. Through the activity, the team will learn how to use innovative technology to carry forward and extend traditional art, cultivate creative thinking, improve team cooperation ability and deepen understanding of art and technology. The creativity and efforts of the team will bring a new artistic experience to the audience, bring inspiration for the integration of art and technology to the society, and promote cultural inheritance and innovation.

2. Activity content and form

(1) FLL Children's Exploration Science and Innovation Activities

Focusing on the theme of the activity, the participating teams work together to design and produce an intelligent model scene work (hereinafter referred to as "the work"). It is necessary to combine art with science and technology, display art hobbies in a more diversified and comprehensive way, and create a sense of belonging to the audience. At the same time, the team needs to write scientific research reports, record the engineering design process, and draw team posters to jointly display the project.

The equipment and equipment (site drawings, robots, computers/tablets, program software, etc.) required for the production of works shall be provided by the participating team, which shall design and create works independently. Instructors can give appropriate inspiration and technical guidance, and can participate in auxiliary work such as shooting videos and photos, but cannot directly help students to complete the production of works. The work should be related to the scene, the programming logic should be appropriate and not rigid, and it should focus on the core issues explored by the team.

Materials include: ① works and team display posters: works need to be combined with color site drawings, use programmable electronic controllers, with sensors, actuators (including motors), etc., to clearly and vividly present the problems and solutions discussed by the team, and the plane size should not exceed 94 * 47.2 cm; The team display poster needs to describe the innovative design ideas and project research results of the work, show team cooperation and core concepts, and the size is 88 * 123cm. The submission format is JPG, PNG, etc. ② Team demonstration video: show and introduce the works designed and produced, introduce their respective work division, work construction and programming ideas, and all four team members need to appear on the camera and participate in the introduction. The submission format shall be MP4, MOV, etc., and the duration shall not exceed 10 minutes. ③ Scientific research report of works (engineering notebook): record the engineering design process of works in the form of text, pictures, etc., and explore problems and solutions. The submission format is Word, PDF, etc. It is recommended to fully display the original handwritten and hand drawn materials of students. ④ The electronic version of the above materials must be provided.

On site display: The team needs to display posters (backboards made of KT boards or other environmental protection materials) and project notes (paper version) on site, demonstrate the works and defend.

(2) FLL Youth Robot Challenge

Focusing on the theme of the activity, the participating teams worked together to design and produce a Lego intelligent robot. According to the challenge task and scoring rules announced by the referee on the scene, they wrote the program and tested it within the specified time, and carried the Lego robot into the task area (single site) of the site to challenge. Each round of challenge lasted 2.5 minutes, a total of two rounds. According to the difficulty of the task, 8-12 scoring tasks are selected, of which 2 designated actions are completed in the specified order, and the rest are free to complete, and corresponding scores are obtained; If the unselected task is completed, the corresponding score will be deducted and detailed requirements will be announced on site.
