According to the requirements of Environmental Quality Monitoring Plan of Gyantse County in 2024, Gyantse County Branch of Shigatse Ecological Environment Bureau entrusts a third-party monitoring company to monitor the air quality, surface water quality (Nianchu River), centralized drinking water quality, farmland irrigation water quality, county sewage treatment plant, standby water source, township level (eastern and western suburbs) centralized domestic drinking water source The landfill, soil and acoustic environment quality were monitored, and the environmental quality monitoring results of the first quarter of 2024 in Gyangze County were publicized as follows:

1、 County ambient air quality

Monitoring point: Party and government complex building in Jiangzi County

Monitoring 6 items in total

Monitoring results:

All monitoring indicators of ambient air quality meet the limit requirements of Class I standard in Ambient Air Quality Standard (GB 3095-2012).

2、 Surface water environmental quality

Monitoring points:

1. 500m upstream of Nianchu River in Jiangzi County

2. 1000m downstream of Nianchu River in Jiangzi County

27 items are monitored

Monitoring results:

Except that the flow, water temperature, turbidity, conductivity and total nitrogen are not included in the assessment, the surface water quality of Jiangzi County (upstream and downstream of Nianchu River) meets the Class II standard of Environmental Quality Standard for Surface Water (GB3838-2002).

3、 Environmental quality of centralized domestic drinking water

（1） Monitoring points:

Water source of Jiangzi County Waterworks

Monitoring 39 projects in total

Monitoring results: the water quality of the water source of the Jiangzi County Waterworks meets the Class II standard in the Quality Standard for Groundwater (GB/T14848-2017).

（2） Monitoring points:

1. Centralized drinking water source in eastern suburbs

2. Centralized drinking water source in western suburbs

Monitoring 39 projects in total

Monitoring results: the water quality of water sources in the eastern and western suburbs of Jiangzi County meets the Class II standard in the Quality Standard for Groundwater (GB/T14848-2017).

（3） Monitoring points:

Standby water source (surface water) in Qulonggou, Jiangzi County

Monitoring 62 projects in total

Monitoring results: except that water temperature and total nitrogen are not involved in the assessment, the other test items meet the standards in Table 1, Class II, Table 2 and Table 3 of Environmental Quality Standards for Surface Water (GB3838-2002).

4、 Water quality monitoring for farmland irrigation

Monitoring point: Manla Irrigation Canal

Monitoring 16 projects in total

Monitoring results:

The water quality of Manla Irrigation Canal meets the standards of various monitoring indicators in the Water Quality Standard for Farmland Irrigation (GB5084-2021).

5、 Acoustic environment quality monitoring

Monitoring points:

There is a total of 1 point for acoustic environment quality monitoring in the urban functional area (in the courtyard of Jiangzi County Government)

Monitoring for one day (24 hours)

Monitoring results:

According to the requirements of Environmental Quality Standard for Noise (GB3096-2008), it shall meet the standards of Class 0 at night and Class 0 at daytime.

6、 Supervisory monitoring of key supervision units

（1） Monitoring points:

County sewage treatment plant (outlet)

Monitoring 19 projects in total

Monitoring results:

The water quality at the outlet of the sewage treatment plant in the county meets the Class I B standard in Table 1 and the standard in Table 2 of the Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Urban Sewage Treatment Plants (GB18918-2002).

（2） Monitoring points:

1. County waste landfill

2. Cardpile landfill

10 soil monitoring projects and 22 groundwater monitoring projects

Monitoring results:

The soil project of the county refuse landfill and the Cardui refuse landfill meets the Standard for Soil Environmental Quality, Agricultural Land, Soil Pollution Risk Control (Trial) (GB15618-2018), and the groundwater quality project meets the Class III standard of the Groundwater Quality Standard (GB/T14848-2017).

According to the environmental monitoring results in the first quarter, the air quality, centralized drinking water quality, standby water source, township level (eastern and western suburbs) centralized domestic drinking water source, farmland irrigation water quality, county sewage treatment plant water quality, surface water quality (Nianchu River), acoustic environment quality, landfill groundwater and soil all meet various national standards, The overall environmental quality is good.
