Accelerate the construction of computing network infrastructure

The direct connection network between hub nodes is the bottom channel for the efficient cross regional flow of "East Data and West Data" data. "In recent years, we have accelerated the upgrading of computing network infrastructure, and the layout of the data center covers all the hub nodes of the" East Data and West Computing ". In June this year, the national integrated computing power network scheduling platform was released, which is the first national platform to achieve multi heterogeneous computing power scheduling in China. "From the early conception to the pilot project, the coordinated scheduling capability of China's diversified heterogeneous computing power is gradually forming." In recent years, focusing on accelerating the construction and application of computing infrastructure, a series of important policies and measures have been introduced from the central to local governments, and a large number of major engineering projects have been implemented to promote the rapid development of China's computing industry.

Infrastructure construction has been steadily promoted, and the development base has been constantly consolidated. Since 2018, the annual compound growth rate of the number of data center racks in China has exceeded 30%. As of the end of June this year, the number of standard racks in use has exceeded 7.6 million, the total computing power has reached 197 billion cycles per second (EFLOPS), and the total storage capacity has exceeded 1080 exabytes (EB).

The transformation and upgrading of traditional industries enabled by computing power accelerated the emergence of integrated applications. The industrial chain is increasingly improved, and the computing power ecology is continuously optimized. The upstream industry consists of facilities, equipment and software suppliers, the midstream industry consists of basic telecommunications, data centers and cloud service providers, and the downstream industry consists of industrial, financial and Internet industry users.

The relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that at present, China's supply capacity of complete machines remains in the lead, the performance of general servers and edge servers continues to improve, the competitiveness of domestic brand servers continues to increase, and the output of servers, computers, smartphones and other computing products has reached the first place in the world.

Make the industry stronger, better and bigger
