In daily life, express delivery has become an indispensable part of people's life. However, many people do not know the size and weight of express packages. The size and weight of express packages are limited.
The weight limit of express packages is also formulated according to different express companies. Common weight limits for express packages are as follows:
(1) Some express companies generally limit the weight of ordinary packages to less than 30kg.
(2) Some special express companies can accept and send heavier express packages, for example, some express companies can accept and send goods weighing up to 500 kilograms, but they need to make an appointment in advance.
(3) Ordinary express companies will charge the delivery fee according to the number of kilograms for extra weight packages.
The first weight of the express is 2 jin, that is, 1 kg.
The express fee is usually composed of the first weight and the additional weight, and is usually charged in 1kg. For example, an express said that the first weight was 8 yuan, and the additional weight was 5 yuan. Then a delivery fee of 8 yuan will be charged for an item of less than 1 kg, and 13 yuan will be charged for an item of more than 1 kg but less than 2 kg. And so on, 5 yuan will be charged for every additional 1 kg.
The size of express packages usually varies according to different express companies. In general, the size limits of express packages are as follows:
(1) The volume and weight shall not exceed 29 kg, and the maximum size of a single piece shall not exceed 120 cm (the sum of length, width and height shall not exceed 120 cm).
(2) Some express companies will have additional regulations and charges for larger packages. For example, some companies will charge extra for packages with a single size of more than 80cm or a weight of more than 10kg.
