The Regulations on Ecological Governance of Network Information Content issued by the National Cyberspace Office was officially implemented on March 1, 2020. It clearly stipulates that network information content service users, producers and service platforms shall not commit traffic fraud, traffic hijacking, false registered accounts, illegal trading accounts, manipulation of user accounts and other acts by manual means or technical means, thus disrupting the network ecological order.
