There were three women and two sons who could support him, but they refused to support his mother because of family conflicts. The old man's physical quality is weak and his education level is not high, so he cannot litigate by himself. In desperation, the old man chose to come to the procuratorate and apply for support for prosecution. The People's Procuratorate of Jiujiang District accepted the case on the same day after learning the basic information from the elderly.

The next day after the case was accepted, the undertaking prosecutor went to the service center to ask and investigate the identity information of the elderly children, but found that the household registration of the elderly adult children was not in the jurisdiction. After communicating with the applicant, the undertaking prosecutor immediately went to the public security organ to search for household registration information across regions. Through visiting the community, the prosecutor further investigated and verified the relevant information to learn more about the family relationship of the elderly and the specific situation of the persons involved. While studying and judging the evidence of the case, the prosecutor found that there was a jurisdictional dispute in the case. After talking with the old man, the old man said that he would not go to other courts to file a case. Considering the physical and psychological conditions of the old man, the prosecutor took the initiative to communicate with the court, the public security and the community, and finally determined the jurisdiction of the case in the People's Court of Jiujiang District.

On March 2, the People's Procuratorate of Jiujiang District held a hearing on the case. After the hearing, it issued a supporting indictment to the People's Court of Jiujiang District on the support of Qian. In order to prevent the elderly from going back and forth, the prosecutor cooperated with the elderly throughout the whole process to handle the prosecution procedure and appease the elderly emotionally, helped the elderly pay legal fees, assisted the elderly to apply for judicial assistance, and finally completed the case filing and prosecution within three days.
