CAMCE News (Worker's Daily - CAMCE reporter Zhang Xi) On June 7, the launching ceremony of the "Safe Production Month" activity of Tianjin labor union system and the "Ankang Cup" skill contest in Jinnan District jointly hosted by Tianjin Federation of Trade Unions and Jinnan District Federation of Trade Unions was held in Tianjin Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Technicians. The activity focused on the theme of "Safety Production Month", aiming to improve the safety production skills of employees and promote the continuous stability and improvement of Tianjin's safety production situation.

This June is the 23rd national "Safe Production Month", with the theme of "everyone talks about safety and everyone can respond to emergencies - unblocking the passage of life". The Tianjin Federation of Trade Unions launched the city's "Safe Production Month" series of activities with the "Ankang Cup" skill contest in Jinnan District to guide workers to attach importance to safety skills and emergency skills. Fifteen teams were formed in the towns and streets of Jinnan District, Changqing Office, Haijiao Park, Development Zone and Agricultural Park to compete in 10 competitions, including fire extinguisher use, fire hose connection, fire escape, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, safe electricity use, and safe operation in confined space.

Relevant principals from the trade unions of 16 districts in the city, towns and streets in Jinnan District, trade unions in the parks and affiliated enterprises observed the five exhibition projects carefully set up in this competition, including the unimpeded life passage, mental health, and aging safety passage. Everyone reported that this "Ankang Cup" skill contest provided a useful reference for the city's trade union system.

The contestants said that participating in the safety skills contest not only won the corresponding awards, but also improved the safety emergency operation skills, which benefited a lot.

It is reported that the Tianjin Federation of Trade Unions will hold a special activity every week during the "Safe Production Month". At the same time, the trade unions at all levels of the city are required to focus on "unblocking the passage of life", organize a collection of safety production aphorisms (cartoons), draw a personal safety escape route map, and carry out a "seven one" activity such as "taking photos of potential safety hazards".
