The "Marine Geology 26" survey ship is the first new multi-function scientific research ship positioned in the comprehensive geological survey and research of islands (reefs) in China. The whole ship is propelled by twin engines and full turning rudder propellers, with good stability, maneuverability and seaworthiness. It is also equipped with more than 30 sets of domestic advanced marine geological survey technical equipment, such as offshore engineering drilling system and static penetration system, which can be used for marine engineering exploration, marine energy and mineral survey, island (reef) natural resources comprehensive survey and other kinds of survey and research. Its delivery and use will effectively supplement the strength of China's marine geological comprehensive survey equipment, and provide support for the development and utilization of marine and island (reef) natural resources, marine engineering construction and marine economic development.
