Original title: The public security film Trident opens today
Tonight News (reporter Ding Xiaochen) The film of the same name, based on the novel Trident by Beijing's "post-80s" public security writer Lv Zheng, was officially released in cinemas across the country today. Recently, the film premiered in Beijing.
Gao Qunshu, the director, said when talking about the original intention of directing the film, that he had made many police dramas and crime related dramas since the 1990s, and would interview the police every time, so he was familiar with this profession. "When I saw the novel Trident, I was first moved by several police figures created by Lv Zheng. He provided a very good text, writing about three old policemen who were about to retire. In the face of the ten billion dollar money laundering case, he had both public and private intentions, and finally regained the former Huihuang." Gao Qunshu said.
Lv Zheng, the author of the original book, said: "Unlike the previous subject matter involved in the case, Trident is not like an ordinary screenwriter who invents a hero. I wrote about three very capable people, all of whom have their own morale and ability, and all think they are good. But when they face the crime, they all work together. Trident is a story about Chinese local police."
