According to the relevant person in charge of the Energy and Environmental Protection Department of Baosteel Group, Baosteel's Sentinel Zoo is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, with 76 blue peacocks, 64 sika deer and more than 100 pigeons. Two sika deer are 15 years old this year, exceeding the limit of their wild survival age.

This "Sentry Zoo" is home to sika deer, blue peacock, pigeons and other animals with the function of environmental monitoring indicators. They not only add a touch of vivid color to this steel jungle, but also serve as a "barometer" of the ecological environment quality of the plant. The healthy breeding of these animals in Baosteel for 30 years fully demonstrates the good ecological environment of harmonious coexistence between Baosteel, a modern urban steel plant, and nature.
