It is reported that in 2023, China's automobile export volume will reach 5.221 million, with a year-on-year increase of 57.4%, surpassing Japan for the first time and becoming the world's largest automobile export country. How does SAIC Automobile Group, whose automobile export volume exceeds 20% of the whole country, realize the transformation of automobile production towards high-end, intelligent, green and integrated? Harbor base is a good example.
"At present, customers have high requirements, including single models, and the production cost of dedicated lines is too high, so now the assembly lines are flexible, which can better meet the fast-paced production needs." Chen Peifeng, secretary of the branch party committee of the passenger car port base and director of the vehicle factory, introduced. It is reported that SAIC passenger cars have four globally leading digital factories in Lingang, Nanjing, Zhengzhou and Ningde. Among them, the Lingang Base was completed and put into operation in September 2008, with a total area of more than 1.2 million square meters, including vehicle and engine manufacturing. It is the first highly flexible manufacturing base in China to achieve full coverage of traditional technology and new energy technology.
"Interior 46", "Chassis 46" and "Door 45" are the figures seen on the large screen of the general assembly workshop, which is the hourly output of the production line of the port base. "The original hourly output was 40, but now we can produce 43 cars per hour on average, and the maximum output per hour can reach 45," Chen Peifeng told reporters. In recent years, the port base has focused on the digital operation of the whole business chain of manufacturing, built a perfect digital platform and put it into practice, forming its own endogenous driving force and enabling enterprises to manufacture in all directions. At the same time of optimizing the process, the posts were optimized and reorganized synchronously, which improved the production rate of the whole vehicle.
It is reported that in terms of effectiveness, the energy consumption of single vehicle in the port base has been reduced by 3.8%, the logistics cost of single vehicle has been reduced by 6%, and the potential idle inventory capital has been reduced by 2%. Through the collaboration of intelligent equipment and digital platform, the production startup rate was increased by 2%, the hourly output was increased by 5JPH, and the production efficiency was increased by more than 10%.
