The center is the first 100% clean energy traceable green big data center in China. State Grid Qinghai Power and China Telecom have established a supply system of "smart grid+green power trading+green power traceability", which strongly supports the completion and implementation of the project. It is reported that since China Telecom (the national) Digital Qinghai Green Big Data Center was put into operation, the annual carbon reduction has exceeded 300000 tons, achieving true "zero carbon" emissions.

State Grid Qinghai Electric Power continues to provide data support for the computing industry, helping the computing industry save energy and reduce carbon. "At present, the 'electricity carbon' measurement model we built has been successfully applied in the smart dual carbon big data center of Qinghai Province, realizing the panoramic view and one network control of carbon emissions of key industries, parks and enterprises, and can regularly carry out carbon emissions daily calculation and monthly analysis around seven industries and five industries in the province." Fan Kewei, general manager of the smart dual carbon big data center of Qinghai Province, introduced.

In terms of green power traceability, State Grid Qinghai Electric Power promoted the construction of green power value transmission system and built a green power traceability platform. The platform integrates blockchain, cloud computing, big data and other new digital technologies, and creates the traceability algorithm model of the whole network energy structure. This model makes every degree of green power become "traceable" by "slicing freezing" and "profiling" the real-time operation state of the power system.

This year, State Grid Qinghai Electric Power will continue to build a support system of "strong smart grid+green power supply+green power traceability certification", and the government and enterprises will work together to build a green power computing integration dispatching center to promote the transformation of green power in Qinghai to green computing power.

Wang Meng, Director of Planning Division I of Qinghai Electric Power Development Planning Department of State Grid, said that in the first quarter of this year, Qinghai's new energy power generation capacity was 12.73 billion kWh, up 20.4% year on year. In the first quarter, new energy power generation accounted for 51.3% of the total power generation, becoming the first provincial power grid in China to achieve more than 50% of new energy power generation. By the end of March, the total installed capacity of power supply in Qinghai Province was 55.68 million kilowatts, and the installed capacity of new energy was 38.79 million kilowatts, accounting for 69.7%. It is estimated that the new energy installed capacity will exceed 15 million kilowatts in the year, and the total new energy installed capacity will exceed 50 million kilowatts by then.
